Payment Policy

At Dokpa Expeditions, we strive to provide a transparent and secure payment process for all our clients. This Payment Policy outlines the terms and methods for making payments for bookings with us.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the required deposit and send a written confirmation by email.
  • The deposit amount or percentage will be specified at the time of booking, depending on the type of trip or service selected.

2. Payment Methods

We accept payments through:

  • Bank transfer (domestic or international)
  • Online payment gateway (credit or debit cards, UPI, or other approved methods)
  • Cash payment at our registered office in Leh, Ladakh (for local clients only)

All payment details and bank information will be provided through official communication channels only.

3. Balance Payment

  • The remaining trip balance must be settled before the start of the journey or as per the due date stated in your invoice.
  • Failure to complete the payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.

4. Currency and Conversion

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. International clients are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transfer costs applied by their respective banks.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Any refund amount will be processed according to our Cancellation and Refund terms mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued to the same account or payment method used during booking, within 7–14 business days after confirmation.

6. Late or Failed Payments

Dokpa Expeditions is not responsible for any delays or unsuccessful payments caused by third-party banks, gateways, or transaction errors. Clients must ensure that payment proof is shared promptly after each transfer.

7. Payment Security

All online payments are processed through trusted and secure channels. Dokpa Expeditions does not store or retain sensitive card information on its servers.
